Hey everyone,
I’ve been wanting to get this one onto the OP-1 Field, and it’s finally here.
Chordscapes was one of those projects that grew way beyond what I originally had in mind. I kept finding new sounds I wanted to add, and more importantly, I kept having fun actually playing the thing.
That’s usually a pretty good sign that I’m onto something.
The OP-1 Field version has around 175 presets, including 74 of the main Chords + Keys presets.
With those, you have single notes on the white keys and chords on the black keys, all within the same scale.
You can play a little melody, reach up for a chord, go back to individual notes, and just follow wherever it takes you.
Everything is built around Minor, Harmonic Minor, Dorian, Lydian, and Phrygian, and there are separate folders full of basses, leads, keys, and pads to go along with the main presets.
These are the same sounds from the OP-XY version, so I’m not going to make you sit through another video of me demonstrating the exact same collection. 😄
For now, I’m using the original Chordscapes video so you can hear what the pack is all about.
I’m really happy with how this collection turned out, and now I’m happy the OP-1 Field gets to have it too.
Hope you enjoy it.
Chordscapes for OP-1 Field is available now.
