I couldn’t be more excited to finally share West Texas Skies with you all. I’ve been working on this pack since last summer, taking my time to continually hunt for new ideas, unique textures, and expressive elements to push it as far as possible.
For years, I’ve wanted a way to truly capture that wide-open, ambient post-rock sound on the OP-1 Field, and it’s finally here. All multisample presets in this pack are crafted in the Drum Sampler to deliver rich, deep layering and authentic tone directly on your hardware.
Inspired by cinematic soundscapes and expansive guitar-driven music, this collection draws heavy inspiration from bands like Explosions in the Sky, Hammock, Stars of the Lid, and Mogwai—giving you instant depth, emotional movement, and deep atmospheric textures.
(Note: To get this out to you right away alongside the OP-XY release, a few presets are currently omitted from this version. I'm already finishing up a free update with the remaining sounds that will drop in just a few days!)

10 Legato Guitars (The Star of the Pack): Meticulously multi-sampled with natural slides, hammer-ons, and authentic articulation to bring unprecedented guitar realism to your OP-1 Field.
35 Ambient Atmospheres: Built from scratch in Ableton. Following the workflow from Bristol, these are sliced and loaded into the drum sampler so you can chop, sequence, and sculpt your own custom atmospheric beds.
11 Multi-Sampled Guitars: Pure, rich guitar instruments ready to play.
7 Granular Guitar Multi-Samples: Complex, slowly shifting textures designed for ambient backdrops.
7 Guitar Atmospheres: Multi-sampled atmospheric textures with deep sustain and character.
Chopped-Up Guitar Chords: Far more than standard chords—these are expressive, atmospheric sliced phrases crafted specifically for performance in the drum sampler.
4 Multi-Sampled Cellos: Warm, organic strings for low-end weight and melodic leads.
2 Ebow Multi-Sample Presets: Infinite sustain and swelling tones for soaring post-rock lines.
2 Multi-Sampled Piano Presets: Lush, ambient-focused acoustic keys.
1 Reverse Guitar Multi-Sample Preset: Ideal for ambient swells, transitions, and ethereal accents.
