Sound in Motion is a custom sound pack for the Teenage Engineering OP‑XY, designed to expand its sonic palette with evolving, ambient textures. It’s my newest and favorite pack so far, featuring 50 projects, each built from four layered presets. Every project was carefully crafted to feel unique, with an emphasis on movement and atmosphere.
All multisamples were created in Logic Pro using Autosampler with the Penrose setting. To keep file sizes manageable, I trimmed long tails after looping. Each preset uses high cutoff to remove low end, so the overall sound stays clear and never muffled.
Some projects are built entirely from multisamples, while others combine them with the OP‑XY’s synth engines. In many presets I used LFOs and the arpeggiator to create a faux granular effect. Polyphony is pre‑assigned in the config menu, so you won’t need to adjust it manually — this keeps the OP‑XY running smoothly without overload.
On the master chain, I boosted compression and volume, and added creative distortion to give the projects extra punch and character.
This pack is alive, dynamic, and ready to inspire new ideas straight out of the box.

Installation Instructions
Presets
• Inside the download, you’ll find two preset folders: clouds and p (yes, that’s the name).
• Simply drop both folders into your OP‑XY presets folder.
Projects
• Open the project folder in the download.
• Copy all 50 project files.
• Paste them into your OP‑XY project user folder.
That’s it — once copied, the presets and projects will be ready to use.
