🎹 New OP-XY Release: The Multi-Sample Piano Collection

Hi everyone,

I’ve just released a comprehensive multi-sample piano pack designed specifically for the OP-XY. The goal was to give you the highest quality piano possible while offering different versions to help you manage your project RAM. This collection includes 6 different presets and a bonus project file to show you what this machine can really do.

What’s inside the Pack:

• Natural Decay Presets (~20 MB): The full, organic tail of the piano. This is the "pure" sound. Available in both 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz.

• Penrose Looped Presets (~8.2 MB): These presets use Logic Pro’s Penrose looping algorithm. Unlike standard crossfading, Penrose creates a seamless, continuous texture that feels infinite. It’s perfect for long sustained notes while keeping the file size small. Available in 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz.

• Granular Piano Presets (~17.5 MB): Two presets where the piano is processed through granular FX for ambient, cloud-like textures. Bonus: Layered Project File Included The OP-XY’s ability to layer sounds is where the magic happens.

I’m including a special project file that demonstrates how to layer the Natural Piano with the Granular Piano. By combining these, you get the punch and clarity of a real piano with the lush, evolving tails of the granular engine—a sound that is uniquely OP-XY.

Choosing your Sample Rate: • 48 kHz: Use these for the highest fidelity to match the OP-XY's native internal processing. • 44.1 kHz: Use these if you want to save a bit of memory or are working with standard sample rate libraries.
